Cut-to-size nesting
The Cut-to-size nesting function is used to nest different parts in such a way that each article is placed on a specially created blank that corresponds to the hull dimensions of the article.
Nest parts on separate blanks
- Under Nesting > Nesting > Geometry nesting, click the Cut-to-size nesting button.
- The Nesting job dialogue box opens. See also: Nesting job dialogue box.
- Configure your desired settings.
- Click OK.
- The Workpieces to nest dialogue box opens. See also: Dialogue box with tables.
- List here all workpieces that are to be nested.
- Click OK.
- The nesting is generated.
- The ZUSCHN dialogue box opens. See also: CUT PROFILE dialogue box.
- Click OK.
- The function is ended.
