Cut X
The Cut X function generates a vertical cut with cutting machining at a freely selectable position. Various parameters for the separation cut can be set beforehand. The separation cut is made in such a way that part contours are not damaged.
Manually generate vertical separation cut with cutting machining
- You have opened a sheet of a nesting.
- Under Nesting > Separation cuts > Lasering, click the Split X button.
- The Separation cut parameters dialogue box opens. See also: Separation cut parameters dialogue box.
- Configure your desired settings.
- Click OK.
- The separation cut is displayed.
- Move the separation cut to the desired position with the left mouse button.
- Fix the separation cut with the middle mouse button.
- If you want to generate more separation cuts, repeat steps 4 to 5.
- Click on Close.
- The separation cut is generated.
