Cut Y

The Cut Y function generates a horizontal cut at a freely selectable position when cutting. Various parameters for the separation cut can be set beforehand. The separation cut is made in such a way that part contours are not damaged.

Manually generate a horizontal separation cut with cutting

  • You have opened a sheet of a nesting.
  1. Under Nesting > Separation cuts > Lasering, click the Cut Y button.
  1. Configure your desired settings.
  1. Click on OK.
  • The separation cut is displayed.
  1. Move the separation cut to the desired position with the left mouse button.
  1. Fix the separation cut with the middle mouse button.
  1. If you want to generate more separation cuts, repeat steps 4 to 5.
  1. Click Close.
  • The separation cut is generated.
