Economy cut
The Economy cut function creates a connection between the parts of a sheet.
Generate a connection between parts
- You have opened a sheet of a nesting.
- Under Manufacturer > Machine-specific functions > Cutting strategies, click the Economy cut button.
- The Lead-in path submenu opens. See also: Lead-in submenu (1).
- Select the lead-in point with the left mouse button.
- Define the lead-in point with the left mouse button held down and confirm it with the right mouse button.
- Use the left mouse button to set the points for connecting the parts, whereby the last point must be on the part between which the connection with the lead-in path is to be generated.
- Click with the right mouse button.
- A connection between parts is generated.
- The function is ended.
