Insert cutout
The Insert cutout function inserts a cutout at all lead-in paths that initiate bevel processing.
This function is suitable for situations where the tool head cannot be swivelled during machining.
Insert cutouts
- You have opened an NC model that contains bevel machining operations.
- The bevel machining operations are divided into individual cuts using the Split bevel contour function.
- Under Manufacturer > Machine-specific functions > Cutting strategies, click the Insert cutout button.
- The dialogue box Parameters for cutouts opens. See also Parameters for cutouts dialogue box
- Configure your desired settings.
- Click on OK.
- The cutouts are inserted.
