Weld seam manual
With the function Weld seam manual, an existing laser machining is split in the area of the weld seam and new contour types are set.
Split laser machining over a weld seam manually
- Under Manufacturer > Machine-specific functions > Cutting strategies, click the Weld seam manual button.
- The dialogue box Parameters for a cut over a weld seam opens. See also Parameters for a cut over a weld seam dialogue box.
- Configure your desired settings.
- Click on OK.
- Select the geometry element whose laser machining is to be split.
- The area of the weld seam is displayed on the geometry element.
- Use the left mouse button to move the displayed area of the weld seam on the geometry element.
- Click with the middle mouse button or the mouse wheel.
- The area is fixed on the geometry element.
- If you want to define additional areas for a weld seam, repeat steps 4 to 6. Otherwise, click Close.
- The laser machining is split accordingly.
