Parameters

Combine orders

The combining of orders is activated here. Different orders of the same parts are added together during nesting and nested one after the other.

Clearing

The parameters for optimising the clearing of the parts are selected here.

  • 0: Optimise nesting for maximum sheet utilisation only.
  • 1: Distribute orders to as few sheets as possible.
  • 2: Nest parts in the order of the parts list.

Single part / groups

The parameters for nesting the individual parts or groups are selected here.

  • 0: Nesting of individual parts and groups according to the maximum utilisation of the sheet.
  • 1: Only nesting of individual parts, no groups.
  • 2: Only nesting of groups, no single parts.

Parameters for multi-torches

Separate torch stages

The separation of the torch stages is activated here. In the case of an existing multi-torch nesting, no more parts are placed in gaps.

Do not display torch copy

The display of the torch copy is deactivated here. Torch copies are no longer displayed on the sheet.

Torch arrangement

The direction in which the torches are arranged on a multi-torch system is selected here.

Number of torches Stage 1

The number of torches used in stage 1 is entered here. Enter the maximum number of torches here. The maximum number is nested first.

Number of torches Stage 2

The number of torches used in stage 2 is entered here. Enter the next smaller number of torches here. The remaining parts are nested to this number if they could not be nested with the maximum number of torches.

Number of torches Stage 3

The number of torches used in stage 3 is entered here. Enter the smallest number of torches here. All remaining parts remaining from the previous levels are nested to this number.

Torch spacing stage 1-3

The distance between the torches is entered here for each torch stage.

Parameters for "Determine one format only

Calculate possible remaining sheet area

The calculation of the possible remaining sheet area is activated here. The smallest waste area is used to determine the optimum sheet. With this option, a possible residual area is also taken into account. After nesting, the residual area itself must be generated by suitable functions (separation cut).

Minimum edge length for residual area

Here, you enter the edge length that a residual area must have in at least one direction.

Parameters for parts

Free rotation from increment

The value for the free rotation from increment is entered here. If a part has a rotational increment equal to or greater than the value specified here, the part can be rotated into any angular position for nesting.
