Point selection (3) submenu

Keyboard

The Keyboard function is used to enter the X and Y coordinates of a point.

Endpoint

The Endpoint function selects one of the two endpoints of an element.

Intersection

The Intersection function generates a new point at the intersection between two circle, arc or line elements. The elements themselves are not separated. If the two elements do not intersect directly, the possible intersection points are determined.

Bisection point

The Bisection point function selects a point located at the centre of the element.

For a line this is the centre of the line, for an arc the point is at the centre of the arc.

Centrepoint

The Centrepoint point function is used to select the centre point of a circle or arc.

Line point

The Line point function generates a point on a line at a distance from the end point.

The distance can be positive (point on the line) or negative (point outside the line).

Circle maxpoint

The Circle maxpoint function selects a point on a circle (arc) at an angle of 0°, 90°, 180° or 270°.

The point closest to the cursor is selected.

Index

The Index function is used to generate a point at any cursor position.
