Engraving parameters dialogue box

Text

Here, you enter the text for the engraving. The text can also be specified using a placeholder.

Text height

The text height is entered here.

Text angle

The text angle is entered here.

Contour type

The contour type with which the text is placed is entered here. With contour type 0, the contour type of a contour is determined automatically.

Tool diameter

The tool diameter is entered here.

Generate engraving geometry

Here, you can activate the creation of an engraving geometry. In addition to being machined, the text is displayed graphically.

With colour number

The colour number of the graphic text is entered here.

Set engraving automatically

Here, you activate that the engraving should be set automatically.

If this function is deactivated, the engraving can be positioned, rotated, enlarged and reduced manually.

Take existing engraving geometries into account

Here, you activate that existing engraving geometries should be taken into account.

Set engraving as *INK block*

Here, you activate that the engraving is to be set as *INK block*. Only a placeholder for the text is placed here. The final text is then set using the Engrave placeholder function, which can be called up after nesting, for example. See also Engrave placeholder.

Generate DataMatrixCode

Here, you activate that a DataMatrixCode should be generated.
