Suction cups and lift submenu (2)

The Change lift function allows you to switch between two different lift configurations, if two configurations are created for the active machine.

With the function Activate suction cups manually, the suction cups are activated or deactivated manually by clicking on the suction cups. Activated suction cups are shown in white.

With the function Activate suction cups automatically, the suction cups are activated automatically on the basis of the existing geometry. Suction cups that have a point of intersection with an inner contour or lie within this contour are not activated.

The lift can be moved with the Move lift function.

After the lift has been moved, by clicking Close, the Automatic suction cups definition dialogue box appears. See also: Automatic suction cups definition dialogue box.

The moving limits configured in the UNLOAD_LOAD.TXT file, if any, apply to moving.

With the Move part function, the workpiece can be moved again after free punching or cutting before the lift picks up the part.

This function triggers a movement of the table to the desired position, whereby the separated part should remain in the sheet grid. The following must be observed:

• A small sheet thickness can cause the already separated part to be pushed under the sheet grid when the table is moved.
• The position of the part is inaccurate because material has already been removed between the part and the sheet grid with a trimming tool of a certain width. This must be taken into account when positioning the suction cups.

The Unload function is used to set how the part is removed and set down in the Unload lift dialogue box.

Since the application of this function depends on the structure of the machine configuration, no generally valid procedure can be described here.

With the Display lift function the lift can be shown or hidden.

The Suction cup number on/off function can be used to show or hide the suction cup numbers.

The function Place number on/off allows you to show or hide the place numbers.

The Cancel function cancels the action and does not save it.

The Close function terminates and saves the action.
