Lug width

The lug width is entered here.

This activates that a microtool punches before and after the lug.

Microtool ID number

The tool ID number for the microtool is selected here or via ..

Replacement tool

Replacement tool X dimension

The dimension for the replacement tool is entered here in X dimension. Via .. a tool can be selected from the tool list.

Replacement tool Y dimension

The dimension for the replacement tool is entered here in Y dimension. Via .. a tool can be selected from the tool list.

Nibbling

Ignore the tool length

This activates that, for the positioning of the tool, the tool length (in the machining direction) is not taken into account. Instead, the stroke point or set-down point of the tool is used. This allows, for example,nibbling operations with rolling tools to be shortened by a defined value.
