Set macro texts
The Set macro texts function can be used to prefix texts with the placeholder _MA_. With this placeholder, the texts in the Punching auto function are taken into account when searching for macros.
Mark texts to search for macros
- You have opened the CAD or NC model of a part.
- Under Dimension > Text, click the Set macro text button.
- The Set macro text dialogue box opens. See also Set macro texts dialogue box.
- Enter the texts to be preceded by the placeholder.
- Click on OK.
- The placeholder is placed in front of the corresponding texts.
