Lug

No lug

With this option, no lug is generated.

Set micro lug at contour end

This option generates a lug at the end of contour machining.

Set micro lug on an element

With this option, the contour element on which the lug is to be generated can be freely selected.

Lug width

The width of the lug is entered here. The width is only read directly from this dialogue box if no value has been defined in the following table:

Form a lug over several elements

This activates that the lug may also be generated over several contour elements if the contour element at the intended lug position is shorter than the lug width.

Trough

Starting trough

Here, you select whether a starting trough is to be formed (Yes) or not (No).

Trough with radius

With this option, a starting trough is formed as an arc and with a radius at the trough edge (transition to contour).

Trough with line

With this option, a starting trough is formed as a triangle and with a radius at the trough edge (transition to contour).

Trough width

The width of the starting trough is entered here.

Trough depth

The depth of the starting trough is entered here.

Trough edge radius

The radius to be used at the edge of the trough (transition to the contour) is entered here.

Inverted trough with radius

With this option, an inverted starting trough is formed as an arc with radius at the trough edge (transition to contour).

Inverted trough with line

With this option, an inverted starting trough is formed as a triangle with radius at the trough edge (transition to contour).

Inverted trough width

The width of the inverted starting trough is entered here.

Inverted trough depth

The depth of the inverted starting trough is entered here.
