NC hulls

With the NC hull function, a new NC hull can be defined by selecting four geometry elements. The NC zero point is reset at the determined intersection point.

This function can be used to offset the NC hull inwards, e.g. to specify the optimum elements of the outer contour for subsequent machining with common separation cuts.

  • Punching > File > NC new
  • Combi > File > NC new

Define NC hull manually

  1. Click the NC Hull button.
  1. Select four geometry elements one after the other.
  • The NC hull is defined and the function is closed.
