EdgeLine Bevel
With the EdgeLine Bevel function from TRUMPF, bevels and countersinks can be generated automatically directly on standard laser machines.
- Your system has a license for the EdgeLine Bevel option from TRUMPF.
- A single part has been programmed and nested in advance.
- Under Manufacturer > Trumpf, click the EdgeLine Bevel button.
- The interface of the function opens.
NOTICE

Initial application of EdgeLine Bevel
When using EdgeLine Bevel for the first time, a message appears about the lack of the appropriate machine configuration. Click OK and make the appropriate settings. See also EdgeLine Bevel machine configuration.
In the settings you can view the supported technologies (e.g. corner rounding, bevel cutting or countersinking). The Supported technologies dialogue box documents the processing options for each material. See also Supported technologies.
- Close the EdgeLine Bevel function after the machine configuration.
- Restart the function in PN4000.
- When the function is started, all key data of the configured machines are displayed.
- Make the required settings.
- Click on the blue check mark in the upper right corner to apply the settings.
- You will now be shown the nesting program.
- Select a part by clicking on it. The function automatically detects which processing options exist. The available processing options are coloured, all others are grey and thus disabled.
- Select an processing option from the menu by clicking on it.
- Make the required settings.
- Finish processing by clicking the menu item again.
- Exit the parts view via the arrow at the top left.
- Click Save NC and close.
- The NC program is created. The function interface of EdgeLine Bevel is closed.
