Save NC
With the Save NC function, an NC part is saved in an archive. Various attributes can be assigned to the NC part via the file name. See also Assign attributes via the file name.

- Milling > File
Save NC part
- Click the Save NC button.
- A dialogue box for assigning a file name opens.
- Enter a file name and click OK.
- The Select archive dialogue box opens. See also Dialogue box with tables.
- Select the archive in which the NC part is to be saved.
- Click on OK.
- If the function is ended: The NC part is saved.
- If the Overwrite file dialogue box opens: See also Overwrite file dialogue box. Proceed to the next step.
- Select an option and click OK.
- If you chose Yes: The function is ended and the NC part is saved.
- If you chose No: The current NC part is not saved. Repeat the function and assign a different file name or select a different archive to save the NC part.
- The function is ended.
