Angle-circle
The Angle-circle function generates a line at the specified angle and tangential to the selected side of a circle or arc. The length of the tangent is equal to the diameter of the circle or arc.
Generate tangent: Angle on circle
- Under CAD > Line > Line, click the Angle-circle button.
- The calculator opens. See also Calculator.
- Enter the angle.
- Select the circle or arc on the side where the tangent should lie.
- The tangent is generated.
- If you want to generate more tangents, repeat steps 2 and 3.
- Click Close.
- The function is ended.
