Import PPS
With the function Import PPS, production orders can be automatically transferred from a PPS system to the order pool.
This function can be found here:
- Menu > Import
- Nesting > Order > Open order pool
Import orders from PPS system
- Click on the Import PPS button.
- The Explorer opens.
- Choose the directory and select the files to be imported.
- Click Open.
- The orders from the files are imported.
- The PPS file correctly imported dialogue box opens. See also PPS file correctly imported dialogue box.
- Specify whether the import files should be deleted.
- Click on OK.
- If the function is ended: The changes are applied.
- If the Archive parameters dialogue box appears: See also Archive parameters dialogue box. The archive specified in the import file does not yet exist and must first be created. Proceed to the next step.
- Click on OK.
- The Pre-sort archive dialogue box opens. See also Pre-sort archive dialogue box.
- Select an option and click OK.
- If the function is ended: The changes are applied.
- If the Select archive dialogue box opens: Proceed to the next step.
- Select the archive before which the new archive is to be inserted.
- Click on OK.
- The function is ended and the changes are applied.
