Release
The Release function releases for production the current sheet of a nesting and all parts on it that were added via the order pool. The number of pieces is deducted from the number of parts to be produced in the corresponding order. The sheet is reserved in the material pool.
Orders remain in the order pool until they are reported complete, cancelled or recorded as scrap.
Release current sheet
- You have opened a sheet of a nesting.
- The sheet is not released and not reported as complete.
- Under Nesting > Order > Select order, click the Release button.
- The Release sheet dialogue box opens. See also Release sheet dialogue box.
- Select Yes and click OK.
- The parts are released and the sheet is reserved in the material pool.
