Scrap
With the Scrap function, parts added to a sheet via the order pool can be marked as scrap on the sheet. The number of pieces is added to the number of parts to be produced in the corresponding order.
If the sheet is produced more than once, the multiple factor is applied to the selected scrap parts and calculated.
Mark parts of a sheet as scrap
- You have opened a sheet of a nesting.
- The sheet is released, but not reported as complete.
- Under Nesting > Order > Select order, click the Scrap button.
- The Scrap submenu opens. See also Scrap submenu.
- Choose a function and select the parts to be marked as scrap.
- Click on OK.
- The Definition of scrap parts dialogue box opens. See also Definition of scrap parts dialogue box.
- Make your desired settings and click OK.
- The function is ended and the changes are applied.
The number of scrap parts can also be corrected later using the Open order pool function. See also Open order pool: Change order.
