Rectangle nesting
The Rectangle nesting function is used to nest different parts on sheets or blanks. The basis for the nesting is the hull of the individual parts. This function is suitable for parts with a predominantly rectangular shape.
Perform rectangular nesting
- Under Nesting > Nesting > Geometry nesting, click the Rectangle nesting button.
- The Nesting job dialogue box opens. See also Nesting job dialogue box.
- Configure your desired settings.
- Click on OK.
- The Nesting parameters dialogue box opens. See also Nesting parameters dialogue box.
- Configure your desired settings.
- Click on OK.
- The Quantity workpieces to nest dialogue box opens. See also Dialogue box with tables.
- List all the workpieces you want to nest here.
- Click on OK.
- The Quantity sheet parameters dialogue box opens. See also Dialogue box with tables.
- List here all the sheets that may be used for nesting.
- The nesting is executed.
- Click on OK.
- The Nesting result dialogue box opens. See also Nesting result dialogue box.
- Click on OK.
- The function is ended.
