Fill nesting

The Fill nesting function can be used to fill free spaces in a nesting by nesting parts from an archive or the order pool. The parts can be nested based on the actual geometry (geometry nesting) or the hull (rectangle nesting).

Fill nesting: With parts from the order pool

  1. Under Nesting > Nesting > Geometry nesting, click the Fill nesting button.
  1. Select the Fill with articles from the order pool option and click OK.
  1. Configure your desired settings and click OK.
  1. Select the parts to be nested and click OK.
  1. Configure your desired settings and click OK.
  1. Configure your desired settings and click OK.
  • The parts are nested.
  1. Click on OK.
  • The function is ended.

Fill nesting: With parts from an archive

  1. Under Nesting > Nesting > Geometry nesting, click the Fill nesting button.
  1. Select the Fill with articles from archive option and click OK.
  1. Choose the archive and select the parts to be used for filling.
  1. Click on OK.
  1. For each article, specify how many parts are to be nested and confirm your entry accordingly.
  1. List all workpieces to be nested here and click OK.
  1. Configure your desired settings and click OK.
  1. Configure your desired settings and click OK.
  • The parts are nested.
  1. Click on OK.
  • The function is ended.

Fill nesting: With difference parts

  1. Under Nesting > Nesting > Geometry nesting, click the Fill nesting button.
  1. Select the Fill with difference parts option and click OK.
  1. List all workpieces to be nested here and click OK.
  1. Configure your desired settings and click OK.
  1. Configure your desired settings and click OK.
  • The parts are nested.
  1. Click on OK.
  • The function is ended.
