Centre of gravity
The Centre of gravity function can be used to display the centre of gravity, area and perimeter of a closed contour. Furthermore, the weight in 1 mm steel, aluminium and copper is calculated.
Display the centre of gravity, area, perimeter and weight of a contour
- Under CAD > Extras > Info, click the Centre of gravity button.
- Select a closed contour with the left mouse button.
- The Area information dialogue box opens. See also Area information dialogue box.
- The found area and the centre of gravity are highlighted in colour.
- Click on OK.
- Click with the left mouse button.
- The function is ended.
