Cut Y

The Cut Y function generates a horizontal cut at a freely selectable position when cutting. Various parameters for the separation cut can be set beforehand. The separation cut is made in such a way that part contours are not damaged.

Manually generate a horizontal separation cut with cutting

  • You have opened a sheet of a nesting.
  1. Under Nesting > Separation cuts > Lasering, click the Cut Y button.
  1. Configure your desired settings and click OK.
  • The provisional separation cut is displayed.
  1. Position the separation cut with the left mouse button.
  1. Fix the separation cut with the middle mouse button.
  • The separation cut is highlighted in colour.
  • If a separation cut with an identical angle already exists at the selected position, the function is cancelled.
  1. If you want to generate more separation cuts, repeat steps 3 to 4.
  1. Click Close.
  • The separation cut is generated.
