Shred waste
The Shred waste function creates a grid of separation cuts within selected closed contours if they are within the specified dimensions for waste. The waste is thus shredded at the start of the programme to such an extent that it does not present an obstacle to further processing.
This function can be found here:
- Lasering > Extras > Shred waste
- Nesting > Separation cuts > Lasering
Generate grid for waste shredding
- Click the Shred waste button.
- The Separation cut parameters dialogue box opens. See also Separation cut parameters dialogue box.
- Configure your desired settings and click OK.
- Select the cutouts that are to be shredded as waste.
- If necessary according to the settings, a separating grid is generated.
- Click Close.
- The function is ended.
