Change tool sequence
The Change tool sequence function allows you to manually sort the machining blocks in the NC model of a part or on the sheet of a nesting into a machining sequence.
This function can be found here:
- Punching > Change > Sort
- Combi > Change > Sort
- Milling > Change > Sort
- Nesting > Change > Sort
Change the sequence of the tools
- You have opened the NC model of a part or the sheet of a nesting.
- Click the Change tool sequence button.
- The Sort machining blocks dialogue box opens. See also Dialogue box with tables.
- If you want to annul a machining block, double-click the machining block with the left mouse button.
- The Message! dialogue box opens. See also Message! dialogue box.
- Select the Annul block check box and click OK.
- The block is annulled.
- Sort the machining blocks into the desired sequence. Data sets are merged under the following circumstances:
- Successive tool data sets with the same station number and the same sheet flag are grouped together as a block.
- Successive insert data sets with the same sheet flag are grouped together as a block.
- Insert data sets with sheet flag 1 are appended to the previous block.
- Click on OK.
- The function is ended and the changes are applied.
