Sort tools

With the Sort tools function, all the same tools in the NC model of a part or on the sheet of a nesting are grouped into blocks. These can be sorted manually in a logical order using the Change tool sequence function (e.g. round hole in front of thread).

This function can be found here:

  • Punching > Change > Sort
  • Combi > Change > Sort
  • Milling > Change > Sort
  • Nesting > Change > Sort
  • Change sheet > Extras > Tool

NOTICE! In the "Change sheet" menu, this function can be used for all sheets. Outside the "Change sheet" menu, the function always refers to the current sheet only.

Sort tools

  • You have opened the NC model of a part or the sheet of a nesting.
  1. Click the Sort tools button.
  1. Configure your desired settings.
  1. Click on OK.
  • The tools are sorted accordingly.
