Sort stations

The Sort stations function is used to sort the tools in the NC model of a part or on the sheet of a nesting by their station number.

Sorting is based on the sequence of the stations in the station base file /u/pn/machine/machine_xxxx/config/STATION__TYPES.TXT

Data set blocks are generated in the following cases:

  • Successive tool data sets with the same station number and the same sheet flag
  • Successive insert data sets with the same sheet flag

Insert data sets with sheet flag 1 are always appended to the previous block.

Sort tools by station number

  • You have opened the NC model of a part or the sheet of a nesting.
  1. Click the Sort stations button.
  • The tools are sorted accordingly.
