Starting trough
The Starting trough function is used to create recesses in an NC model for selected laser machining operations.
This function can be found here:
- Lasering > Change > New path
- Combi > Change > New path
Generate starting troughs
- Click the Starting trough button.
- The Laser trough parameters dialogue box opens. See also: Laser trough parameters dialogue box.
- Configure your desired settings.
- Click OK.
- The NC element selection submenu opens. See also: NC element selection submenu.
- Select a function for element selection.
- Select the contours at which starting troughs are to be generated.
- The contours are highlighted in colour.
- Click on Close.
- The starting troughs are generated.
