Laser contour multiple
With the Multiple contour lasering function, a continuous laser processing of individual contours can be generated manually. All parameters for processing can be set.
For the travel path between the contours, it can also be determined whether the laser beam should be switched on or off. A connection with the laser beam switched on is useful, such as for processing thick sheet metal, in order to reduce the number of piercing cycles.
This function can be found here:
- Lasering > Manual > Laser contour
- Combi > Manual > Laser contour
Manually generate continuous laser processing of individual contours
- Click the Multiple contour lasering button.
- The Macro parameters dialogue box opens. See also: Macro parameters dialogue box.
- Specify the state of the laser beam (on or off) for the travel path between the contours.
- Click OK.
- Select the desired contour on the side on which the machining is to be generated and at the point where the machining is to begin. Possible starting points are end and bisection points of elements. You can correct the selection with the left mouse button.
- The processing is displayed as a preview.
- The machining direction is indicated by an arrow.
- Click the right mouse button to record the current edit.
- Use the left mouse button to enter points on the free space to define the laser's travel path to the next contour. Set the last of these points near the planned starting point of the next contour.
- Click on Close.
