Stretch hull rectangle

The Stretch hull function can be used to create a new outer contour in a loaded NC part by entering a dimension and dragging a box over two corners. These selected corners are then stretched. Both the CAD elements and the NC machining are changed.

Stretch NC and CAD hull

  • You have opened the NC model of a part.
  1. Under Punching > Change > Correction, click the Stretch hull rectangle button.
  • The Calculator opens.
  1. Specify the allowance and confirm your entry.
  1. Hold down the left mouse button and use it to drag a box around the hull elements that should be stretched.
  1. Release the left mouse button.
  • The elements are stretched.
  • The Calculator opens.
  1. If you want to stretch more hull elements, repeat steps 2 to 4.
  1. Click with the right mouse button.
  • The function is ended.
