Labels for remnant sheets
The Labels for remnant sheets function is used to generate and print standard labels for the remnant sheets of a nesting.
Outputting standard labels for remnant sheets
- You have opened a nesting in which a remnant sheet has been generated.
- Under Nesting > System > Job data, click the Labels for remnant sheets button.
- The Selection of sheets dialogue box opens. See also Selection of sheets dialogue box.
- Select the sheets for which you want to generate labels and click OK.
- The Plotter selection dialogue box opens. See also Plotter selection dialogue box.
- Select the device on which you want to print the labels and click OK.
- The dialogue box Print template parameters opens. See also Print template parameters dialogue box.
- Set up the print template and click OK.
- The Label parameters dialogue box opens. See also Label parameters dialogue box.
- Specify what to print on the labels and click OK.
- The labels are displayed in the workspace.
- The Scale dialogue box opens. See also Scale dialogue box.
- Specify whether you want the print to match the printed page or to be scaled and click OK.
- If you have selected an output device in the Plotter selection dialogue box: The labels are printed and the function is ended.
- If, in the Plotter selection dialogue box, you have selected the With dialogue option: The Colour sequence optimisation dialogue box opens. See also Colour sequence optimisation dialogue box. Proceed to the next step.
- Specify whether to optimise the colour sequence and click OK.
- The Plotter pen width dialogue box opens. See also Plotter pen width dialogue box.
- Specify the pen widths for each colour and click OK.
- The Plotter pen assignment dialogue box opens. See also Plotter pen assignment dialogue box.
- Specify which colours (pens) the plotter should use for the colours of the labels and click OK.
- The Plotter command in /u/pn/bin dialogue box opens. See also Plotter command in /u/pn/bin dialogue box.
- Select the batch file to run and click OK.
- The labels are printed.
