To element
The On element function is used to place a single stroke that is aligned with an element.
This function can be found here:
- Punching > Manual > Manual punching
- Combi > Manual > Manual punching
Place single stroke
- Click the On element button.
- The Tools dialogue box opens. See also: Tools dialogue box.
- Select your desired tool.
- Click OK.
- The Tool management dialogue box opens. See also: Dialogue box with tables.
- Select your desired tool.
- Click OK.
- The Calculator opens. See also: Calculator.
- Enter the distance from the end point and confirm your entry. The tool is placed so that the entered distance is not exceeded.
- Select a reference element on the tool and click Close. The distance from the end point follows the reference element on the tool.
- Click on the point where you want to set the tool.
- Move the tool to the desired position with the left mouse button and right-click.
- The single stroke is placed.
- The Tool submenu opens. See also: Tool submenu.
- If you want to place further single strokes with the same tool, distance and reference point, repeat step 8.
- If you want to generate single strokes with a new tool, distance and/or reference point, click on the corresponding function in the Tool submenu. See also: Tool submenu.
- Click on Close.
- The function is ended.
