Create system geometry

TASK

Definition of a system geometry.

EXECUTION

  1. Select the desired CAD geometry.
  1. Automatic storage in the system library.
  1. The name assignment for the individual functions is prescribed.

NOTE

System geometries are graphic display means for machine-specific units such as:

  • Repositioning devices (hold-down devices)
  • Clamping claws with their dead zones
  • Disposal devices (flaps)
  • Workspace descriptions
  • Laser entry and exit

System geometries are stored in /u/pn/machine/machine_XXXX/config/SYSTEM___GEO2D.

System geometries are displayed depending on the selected NC function and are:

  • STOP: Stop
  • CLAMP: Clamping claws
  • REPOS: Hold-down repositioning
  • DISPO1: Disposal device 1
  • DISPO2: Disposal device 2
  • ARAUM: Machine workspace
  • ES1: Disposal device 1 for nesting
  • ES2: Disposal device 2 for nesting
