Create laser macro
The Generate laser macro function can be used to define macros for lead-in and lead-out paths for laser processing.
The start and end macros for laser processing can be defined individually. It must be noted that they always lie in the third quadrants and the contour connection point must lie on X0/Y0. The path must be drawn so that the contour ends in the direction of 0 degrees.
Create laser macro
- The geometry for the path has already been generated.
- Under Config > Machines > System Geometry, click the Create laser macro button.
- The Define laser macro dialogue box opens. See also: Define laser macro dialogue box.
- Select whether you want to define a macro for a lead-in or a lead-out path.
- Click OK.
- Select the start element of a contour.
- Enter an identification number.
- Click OK.
- The laser macro is generated.
