Compare
The Compare function compares the displayed geometry with the geometry of a part from the NC archive. This function can be used to determine the correct part for further processing.
Compare geometries
- Under Extras > Article, click the Compare button.
- The Select archive dialogue box opens. See also: Dialogue box with tables.
- Select your desired archive.
- Click OK.
- The Archive browser opens. See also: Archive browser dialogue box.
- Select your desired part.
- The current geometry is displayed in red, the part from the archive is displayed in yellow.
- The Yes/No submenu opens.
- If you want to compare both geometries, click the Yes button.
- The geometries are compared.
- The current geometry is displayed in red.
- The part from the archive is displayed in yellow.
- A superimposition of both geometries is shown in green.
