Milling auto
The Milling auto function automatically generates a milling operation with disposal (if available) for all contours based on the settings made.
The technology and the tools used depend on the chosen material and thickness. Text placeholders for special forms (_SO_...) and macros (_MA_. ..) are also evaluated.
Generate milling for contours automatically
- You have opened a CAD model.
- Under Milling > auto > Milling/Drilling auto, click the Milling auto button.
- The Contour machining parameters dialogue box opens. See also Contour machining parameters dialogue box.
- Make your desired settings and click OK.
- The Lead-in path definition dialogue box opens. See also Lead-in definition dialogue box.
- Make your desired settings and click OK.
- If you have selected a processing without lead-in path and lead-out path: The milling operation is generated accordingly and the function is ended.
- If you have selected a processing with lead-in path and/or lead-out path: The Lead-in definition and/or Lead-out definition dialogue boxes open one after another. See also Lead-in definition dialogue box and Lead-out definition dialogue box. Proceed to the next step.
- Make your desired settings and click OK.
- If you have defined lead-in and/or lead-out paths, the milling operation is generated accordingly.
