Mill contour
The Mill contour function generates a milling operation along a manually defined contour path.
Mill contour
- You have opened the CAD or NC model of a part.
- Under Milling > Manual, click the Mill contour button.
- The Mill contour path parameters dialogue box opens. See also Mill contour path parameters dialogue box.
- Configure your desired settings.
- Click on OK.
- Select one after the other with the left mouse button:
- the start element of the contour path
- the start point on the start element
- the machining direction
- the machining side
- the start point for the lead-in path
, if applicable - the end element of the contour path
- the end point on the end element
- the end point for the lead-out path, if applicable
- The milling operation is generated.
