Nibble contour
The Nibble contour function generates a nibbling operation along a continuous contour.
Define nibbling manually
- You have opened the CAD or NC model of a part.
- Under Milling > Manual, click the Nibble contour button.
- The Contour machining parameters dialogue box opens. See also Contour machining parameters dialogue box.
- Make your desired settings and click OK.
- Use the left mouse button to select the starting point of the operation on the side where the operation is to be generated.
- The starting point, the start element and the rest of the connected contour are highlighted in colour.
- Click with the right mouse button.
- The entire contour is highlighted in colour.
- Use the left mouse button to select the end point of the processing.
- Click with the right mouse button.
- The tool path is displayed.
- If you want to generate further machining operations, repeat steps 3 to 6.
- Click with the right mouse button.
- The nibbling operations are generated and displayed.
