Standard pocket
The Standard pocket function generates the machining for a pocket in one of the standard shapes. Standard shapes are: Rectangular, round or slotted.
Generate machining of a pocket with a standard shape
- Under Milling > Manual > Free pocket, click the Standard pocket button.
- The Pocket machining parameters dialogue box opens. See also Pocket machining parameters dialogue box.
- Configure your desired settings.
- Click on OK.
- Select the contour of the pocket with the left mouse button.
- The machining operation is displayed.
- If you want to generate machining operations for additional pockets, repeat the previous step.
- Click with the right mouse button.
- The function is ended and the changes are applied.
