Change number of steps
The Change number of steps function is used to define the number of steps into which the machining is to be divided for a milling operation up to the maximum plunge depth.
Change the number of steps for the milling operation
- Under Milling > Extras > Parameters, click the Change number of steps button.
- The NC element selection submenu opens. See also: NC element selection submenu.
- Select an NC element.
- Click on Close.
- The Define steps dialogue box opens. See also: Define steps dialogue box.
- Configure your desired settings.
- Click OK.
- The function is ended and the changes are applied.
