EXECUTION

  1. Select a machining line.
  1. Select two boundary lines.
  1. Specify the protrusion dimensions via indexing or input via keyboard.

NOTE

A separation cut is basically a window with 3 degrees of freedom.

After selecting the machining line, the user indexes the protrusion dimensions or enters them via keyboard. When indexing the protrusion dimensions, make sure that the direction of subsequent tool use is based on the order in which the points are indexed.

The system enters the window as a new NC data set at the end of the SOURCE with the following parameters:

Position

Reference point bottom left

Angle

Angular position of the window

Width

Width of the cutout

Protrusion

Dimension by which the MAY surface exceeds the MUST surface in the respective direction.
