Weld seam auto (laser)
The function Weld seam auto (laser) splits an existing laser machining in the area of the weld seam and sets new contour types. The weld seam can be searched automatically or defined manually.
Split laser machining over a weld seam
- Under Manufacturer > Machine-specific functions > Cutting strategies, click the Weld seam auto (laser) button.
- The dialogue box Parameters for a cut over a weld seam opens. See also Parameters for a cut over a weld seam dialogue box.
- Configure your desired settings.
- Click on OK.
- Click in the area of 1. Material.
- If you have activated the automatic search of the weld seam, the laser machining is automatically split accordingly. The function is now ended.
- The Point selection submenu opens. See also Point selection (2) submenu.
- Select a function and select or define the weld seam.
- Click Close.
- The laser machining is split accordingly.
