Title
The title designates the dialogue box. It also has an internal program abbreviation in brackets.
Tab
Tabs organise the contents of a dialogue box into contiguous areas.
Area
An area, with its border, encloses parameters that belong together and has an area designation.
Check box
Check boxes are preceded by options that are not mutually exclusive. Multiple selection is therefore possible here.
By clicking with the left mouse button in the check box, the check box is activated or deactivated, thus selecting or deselecting the option.
Option field and drop-down list
An option field contains several options that are mutually exclusive. Only exactly one option can be selected in an option field.
The drop-down list is another form of option field, but behaves the same way. Again, only one option can be selected.
Input field
The value for the corresponding parameter is entered in the input field.
