Corner parameters tab

Corner processing Rolled corner

This option automatically rounds corners.

Rolled corner radius outside

The radius with which outside corners are rounded is entered here.

Rolled corner radius inside

The radius with which inside corners are rounded is entered here.

Generate from angle change

Here, the angle change between two elements is entered, from which a rolled corner is to be generated.

Corner processing Loop

This option adds a loop to the tool path at outside corners of the contour.

Maximum contour overcut

Here, you enter the maximum distance by which the new tool path (tool dimensions included) may project beyond the contour.

... relative to thickness

This activates that the entered value is multiplied with the sheet thickness.

Generate from angle change

The angle change between two elements from which the corner type is to be used is entered here.

Corner processing Triangle

This option adds a triangle to the tool path at outside corners of the contour.

For parameter description see corner processing Loop.

Parameters for standard corner

Protrusion factor

Here, the factor is entered to calculate the maximum distance of the machining from the geometry. This calculation basis is required for circumnavigating around sharp outer corners if the tool path has been calculated equidistantly. The value does not normally need to be changed.

Calculation formula: Max. protrusion = distance of equidistant X factor for protrusion

By specifying a negative value, acute outer corners are circumnavigated circularly.
