Element selection (2) submenu

The Element selection function can be used to select individual elements.

The Inclusive box function is used to select elements from a dragged box. All elements within the box and elements touching the box are selected.

The Exclusive box function is used to select elements from a dragged box. All elements outside the box that do not touch the box are selected.

The All function selects all parts of the sheet.

The Inclusive polygon function can be used to generate a polygon for selecting elements. All elements within the polygon and elements touching the polygon are selected.

The Exclusive polygon function can be used to generate a polygon to select elements. All elements outside the polygon that do not touch the polygon are selected.

The Contour function selects all elements of a contiguous contour.

The Colour function selects all elements that have the same colour as the element selected with the Colour function.

The Cancel function cancels the action and does not save it.

The Close function terminates and saves the action.
