Round hole tab

Hole type

In this tab, the hole type for round holes is selected and the settings for the selected hole type are made.

Round holes in straight rows (Rs)

Here, you can select the hole type for round holes in straight rows.

Diameter

The diameter for the round holes is entered here.

Hole spacing

The spacing between the holes in the X or Y direction is entered here. The hole spacing is the distance from hole centre to hole centre.

Angle

The angle is preset to 90 degrees and cannot be changed.

Edge distance

The distance to the edge is entered here.

Calculation from the zero point of the selected surface

Position in X/Y

This function is activated if the edge distances in X and Y are to be entered manually.

The hole pattern is not centred.

Centring

This function is activated if the edge distances should be equal.

The hole pattern is centred.

Edge distance X

Here, the edge distance in X is entered. Only a negative margin distance or 0 can be entered. Positive values are not possible.

Edge distance Y

Here, you enter the edge distance in Y. Only a negative margin distance or 0 can be entered. Positive values are not possible.

Round holes in staggered rows (Rst)

Rst

Here, you can select the hole type for a round hole in staggered rows.

Diameter

The diameter for the round holes is entered here.

Hole spacing

The hole spacing is entered here. The hole spacing is the distance from hole centre to hole centre.

Angle

The angle is preset to 60 degrees and cannot be changed.

Edge distance

The distance to the edge is entered here.

Position in X/Y

This function is activated if the edge distances in X and Y are to be entered manually.

Edge distance X

Here, the edge distance in X is entered. Only a negative margin distance or 0 can be entered. Positive values are not possible.

Here, you enter the edge distance in Y. Only a negative margin distance or 0 can be entered. Positive values are not possible.

Round holes in diagonally offset rows (Rd)

Here, you can select the hole type for round holes in diagonally offset rows.

Diameter

The diameter for the round holes is entered here.

Hole spacing

The hole spacing is entered here. The hole spacing is the distance from hole centre to hole centre.

Angle

The angle is preset to 45 degrees and cannot be changed.

Edge distance

The distance to the edge is entered here.
