Multi cutouts
With the Multi cutouts function, horizontal and vertical shear strokes are automatically generated on a suitable sheet of a nesting, as well as punching strokes to cut out the waste.
For this purpose, the nesting must be rectangular nesting, in which the parts were arranged in strips.
Optionally, the Centre parts in strips function can be executed beforehand to enable faster processing of the waste surfaces.
Automatically generate shear strokes on a sheet
- You have opened a sheet of a nesting.
- The parts were nested in strips using the Rectangle nesting function.
- Optional: The parts were centred in the strips with the Centre parts in strips function.
- Under Manufacturer > Manufacturer > Pivatic, click the Multi cutouts button.
- The Pivatic multi-cutouts parameters dialogue box opens. See also: Pivatic multi-cutout parameters dialogue box.
- Specify the tool to be used to punch out the waste surfaces.
- Click OK.
- The shearing strokes and punching strokes are generated.
