Stretch horizontally
The Stretch horizontally function can be used to move selected elements or individual corner or connection points in order to stretch contours horizontally.
Stretch horizontally
- Under CAD > Change > Stretch, click the Stretch Horizontal rectangle button.
- The Selection submenu opens. See also: Selection submenu (3).
- Select the Point-to-point function or the Distance function to specify the amount of displacement.
- If the Point selection submenu opens: See also: Point selection (1) submenu. Proceed to the next step.
- If the Calculator opens: See also: Calculator. Continue with step 4.
- Select a point selection function and specify two points accordingly, whose distance in the X direction specifies the measure of the displacement. You can select a different point selection function for each point definition.
- The Selection submenu opens. See also: Selection submenu (3). Continue with step 5.
- Enter the dimension of the displacement in the X direction.
- The Selection submenu opens. See also: Selection submenu (3).
- Choose an element selection function and select the elements to be moved accordingly.
- The elements are moved.
- If you want to move other elements by the specified amount, repeat step 5.
- Click on Close.
- The function is ended.
