Point circle
The Point circle function generates a line that is tangential to the selected side of a circle or arc from the specified starting point.
Generate tangent: Point on circle
- Under CAD > Line > Line, click the Point-circle button.
- The Point selection submenu opens. See also Point selection (1) submenu.
- Choose a point selection function.
- Select the starting point of the tangent.
- Select a circle or arc on the side where the tangent should lie.
- The tangent is generated.
- If you want to generate more tangents, repeat steps 2 to 4.
- Click Close.
- The function is ended.
